LiAngelo's Shot!

Image
In today's blog post, I will be writing about LiAngelo Ball(“LiAngelo”). LiAngelo was born in Anaheim, California where he would begin working out and training at a very young age. LiAngelo is the middle son of two former collegiate athletes Lavar and Tina. LiAngelo is also brother to current NBA guards Lonzo and LaMelo Ball. Since a young age, LiAngelo’s goal has always been one thing, playing in the NBA.  Freshman/ Sophomore Year As a high school student, LiAngelo would team up and play with his older brother Lonzo. They would play at Chino Hills High School in Chino Hills, California. As a freshman and sophomore, LiAngelo and his team would fall short and lose back-to-back championship games.  All while putting the country on notice while scoring 53 points in a game against Dorsey High School. Junior Year In LiAngelo's junior year, the brotherly trio would be complete as younger brother LaMelo made the team. As a trio, Chino Hills and the Ball brothers were unstoppable.

In today's post, I will be discussing today’s breaking news regarding Robert Sarver (“Robert”). For those unaware, Robert was the owner of two separate franchises in the NBA and WNBA, the Phoenix Suns (“Suns”) and Phoenix Mercury (“Mercury”). Off the hardwood, Robert is known for being the co-founder of Southwest Value Partners, a real estate development company. On to the news! As of today, Robert has recently announced that he will begin the process of selling both the Suns and Mercury . This news comes recently off of a recent NBA investigation where the NBA concluded they would be suspending Robert for one year and a $10 million fine. These said actions were a result of the investigation finding Robert to be violating workplace standards . Such as, using racial slurs, bullying, and unfair inappropriate behavior towards his female employees. Robert's Personal Statement : “Words that I deeply regret now overshadow nearly two decades of building organizations that brought

In today’s post, I will be discussing European football. Specifically, the matches between Real Madrid (“Madrid”) and RB Leipzig (“Leipzig”) and FC Barcelona (“Barca”) and Bayern Munich (“Bayern”). All of these matches have occurred over the past few days in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League. First, we will discuss Madrid vs Leipzig. What was considered a rather frustrating night for Madrid as they struggled to score the vast majority of the night would result in an eventual victory. Madrid would begin to find the net as Federico Valverde would score a beautiful goal to begin the 80th minute of play. Leipzig’s heartfelt performance began to sputter as they failed to strike on their chances. The final nail in the coffin for Leipzig happened in the 90th minute as Marco Asensio scored a gorgeous goal off a great assist from Toni Kroos. The final score of the match was 2-0, Madrid. Madrid hopes to continue their red-hot start to the season as they are currently undefeated with

VIVA MANU!

For this post, I will be writing about NBA and basketball legend Manu Ginobili. Manu is an Argentina-born basketball player who won and accomplished almost everything possible on the basketball court. Such accomplishments include leading his team to an Olympic gold medal, EuroLeague title, and NBA Championships. Manu was an integral part of success for every team he played for as he played every game with an unmatched competitive fire and passion.  Such competitiveness was often viewed as a member of the San Antonio Spurs. Manu was drafted with the fifty-seventh pick in the second round of the 1999 NBA Draft. Manu quickly became a household favorite among Spurs Nation as his bilingual background speaking English and Spanish made his connection to the city of San Antonio unbreakable. Manu would go on to play his entire sixteen-year NBA career with the Spurs as the love between him and the organization was deep. In those sixteen years, Manu helped build the Spurs into a dynasty
